About OBEX
Business understanding. Creative thinking.
OBEX brings together two different perspectives on the same business: how it works, and how it connects with people.
Jordan and Blake work across websites, marketing, content and business systems. We consider the whole customer journey, from the first impression through to the enquiry, the response and the experience that follows.
Business, strategy & systems
Jordan.
A business owner’s perspective on what needs to work.
Jordan brings 12 years of business experience to OBEX. Running customer-facing businesses gives him a practical understanding of the decisions behind the website: attracting the right customers, supporting a team, managing competing priorities and making the day-to-day work easier.
His focus is the commercial and operational picture. What are you trying to achieve? Where does the customer journey break down? Which tasks take more time than they should? What already works and should stay?
That experience helps shape the priorities, processes and systems behind a project. It also brings the questions that matter after launch into the conversation early: who will use the work, who will maintain it and what it needs to deliver for the business.
Creative, messaging & content
Blake.
A creative perspective on how the business is seen and understood.
Blake brings the creative and content perspective to OBEX. His contribution starts with the offer and the story: what the business wants to communicate, what its customers need to understand and how to bring those two things together.
That thinking shapes the message, the visual presentation and the content that supports it. Photography and video sit within that broader picture, alongside the ideas, planning and creative choices that give a website or campaign a clear direction.
His focus is on making the business’s strengths come through consistently. The content should feel like the business, speak to the right people and give them a clear reason to take the next step.
Different strengths.
One connected approach.
We bring those perspectives into the same project. Business priorities give the creative work a purpose. Creative thinking helps make the offer clearer and the customer journey easier to follow.
For a website, that means considering the content, design and enquiry process together. For marketing, it means connecting the message to a clear offer and a useful next step. For systems and automation, it means understanding the people and the process before deciding what to build.
You’ll work directly with Jordan and Blake. We start by listening, look at the current setup and agree where we can make the most useful difference. As the work develops, you can see it, question it and help shape it.
